Confession

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

1 John 1:9

Sacrament of Repentance and Confession

The Sacrament of Repentance and Confession is one of the seven holy sacraments, by which the sinner returns to God, confessing his/her sins before the priest to be absolved by the priest through the authority granted to the priest by God. By this absolution, the confessing person is granted the forgiveness of those sins which he/she confessed.

In our journey toward holiness and the likeness of our Lord Christ, repentance and confession serve as our compass and direction that allow us to see our path to righteousness.

Confession

This sacramental union of ourselves with Jesus is more than the physical union between our body and the body and flesh of our lord and Savior Jesus Christ which we have partaken. More importantly, it is a spiritual union of the soul with Jesus. Additionally, we don't believe it is a mere symbol but His true Body and Blood and our source of eternal life and healing.
